Do you have the taste for sales? Our client, a market leading niche organisation is looking for telesales executives to join their expanding team and help ensure that sales and call targets are met.
Roles and Responsibilities will include:
• Ensuring the agreed targets are hit, including:
1. number of sales quotations issued
2. value of sales orders received and invoiced
3. overall phone call-times
4. the daily number of outgoing phone calls
• Providing accurate sales forecasting figures to the Sales Manager.
• Updating and maintaining records on the customer sales database, with details of calls, e-mails, letters, quotation/sales activities and contact information.
• Ensuring that the customer base know and understand the complete product range.
• Acquiring, and maintaining, an accurate level of product knowledge as is appropriate to the role.
• Ensuring that all statutory and company regulations are followed to protect clients, colleagues and the business interests of the company
The ideal candidate will have:
• At least one-year’s experience in telephone selling.
• Ability to demonstrate previous sales activities and successes against targets.
• Acceptable level of IT literacy.
• Interest in technology and in people.
• Must be able to record all contact information accurately and concisely.
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills (essential.)
• Customer-facing experience would be an advantage (but not specific part of the role).
• Proactive targeting of potential customers within designated market/channel.
• Maintain calmness and articulacy under pressure.
• MS Word/Excel knowledge essential; MS Outlook and PowerPoint an advantage.
• Previous experience with CRM software an advantage.
• Must be able to use telephone and PC to maintain high call rates.
This position offers a salary of £18,000-£22,000 + OTE, provides excellent benefits and career opportunities and open to anyone who believes they can sell.
