Our client a well established high street insurer is currently looking for a Branch Assistant to join the existing team. To be considered for this role you must live in Southampton.
Our client is looking for a bilingual candidate who is fluent in both English and Polish. If you have worked in a customer service environment - insurance, bank, building society or retail and are looking for a fresh exiting challenge this is the position for you.
Your role will include dealing with the public both face to face and over the phone. Your personality will lend itself to problem solving, negotiating, giving quotations and selling due to the strengths that you demonstrate. Success in delivering the very best in personal, professional service, combined with your ambition and determination will bring progression in terms of responsibility and earnings.
If you display all of these qualities in a consistent level then a role within management is a real possibility within two years.
This role requires everybody to take the Certificate in Insurance - run by the Chartered Insurance Institute, which provides an excellent grounding. Every support is given to those wishing to study further.
The ideal candidate will be ambitious, intelligent, hardworking and committed. The hours are 8.15 – 5.30 Monday to Friday and 1 Saturday morning every month.
It is essential that for this position that you have a certificate in English or the equivalent as you will be required to take insurance examinations and your English skills both written and spoken will be tested.
