| Locally based, Marine Safety Supplier, are looking for an Operations Assistant to join the successful team in central Southampton. The company is currently the largest supplier of its kind in Europe working in both onshore and offshore markets. They are actively expanding their international footprint and are looking for someone who wishes to be instrumental in its growth. Main duties will include: - Liaising with customers and suppliers - Control of hire fleet - Checking service schedules - Resolving credit queries promptly - Purchasing and maintaining stationery - Assisting with the purchase of stock - Preparing quotations for service work - Organisation of logistics Ideal candidates should be able to communicate with staff and customers at all levels, they will be computer literate with an eye for detail and the ability to focus on the job in hand. Excellent planning and organisational skills and you will be required to work alongside other branches in the network.
