Job Description

The University of Southampton is home to the NIHR Evaluation, Trials and Studies Coordinating Centre (NETSCC), established in 2008. NETSCC manages evaluation research programmes and other research on behalf of the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR).

A vacancy has arisen within the Editorial and Publishing team that produces the Health Technology Assessment journal – a series of monographs that captures the funded research of the NIHR HTA programme.

For this role you will be supporting colleagues within the Editorial team, managing an allocated number of reports through editorial review and helping to ensure timely publication.

This post would suit someone with very high work standards, attention to detail and a desire to be part of the health research environment.  The ability to quickly become familiar with policies and processes will be essential, as will a flexible approach to work in a changing environment.  You will have proven high level administrative experience, excellent communication and organisational skills and the ability to develop positive working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
