Job Description

International Office

The University of Southampton is a research-led institution with a strong commitment to internationalisation as part of its strategic vision for the future. As part of the University’s on-going commitment to student mobility this new post will be responsible for student exchange programmes, including the European Erasmus Partnerships Programme. 

Working as part of a small and dynamic team in the International Office the post will provide an opportunity for someone with excellent marketing and communication skills, a strong customer focus and the ability to develop and implement strategies.  Evidence of strong influencing skills in support of achieving strategic objectives in a complex organisation is essential.

Professionalism, flexibility, self-motivation and a determination to succeed as a member of a strong team are essential. You will have a degree or equivalent, and ideally a relevant postgraduate qualification. Cultural awareness and sensitivity and ability to travel extensively are essential. In this particular post a European language would be an advantage.
