Job Description

iSolutions is looking to recruit an experienced Applications Systems Development Team Leader to manage a team of professional specialists responsible for providing development to Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) applications to include installation and configuration.

iSolutions, one of the largest departments within the University of Southampton’s Professional Services Group, provides all aspects of ICT to support all University activities including Learning and Teaching, Research and University Administration whilst supporting a diverse user community of over 35,000 University staff and students.

Qualified to degree level or equivalent and with demonstrable experience of working in a similar dynamic working environment, you will have strong organisational and people management skills, able to plan, organise and prioritise tasks.  You will enjoy operating as a successful and contributing leader to a team working to extremely high standards and committed to achieving deadlines and customer satisfaction.

 The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate experience and success in applications team leadership including:

•  the development of solutions within complex enterprise-scale applications systems
• collaborative working with business analysts, stakeholder groups, and other teams
• agile development
• working in an ITIL and Prince2 environment
