Job Description
Leading electronics organisation in Hampshire requires an experienced software development engineer to join their expanding team.
This role involves the design, development, manufacture and support of sophisticated automated test equipment systems that are used in high volume electronics manufacture.
This role requires an appreciation of complete systems and how software interacts with the rest of the system.
Candidates must have a degree or equivalent in a relevant subject (computer science, software engineering, electronics, etc).
Essential skills include significant experience of developing with C, C++ both writing and debugging, the ability to write and maintain GUIs and write simple programs in Assembler. Additionally you should have experience of working in RTOS and have familiarity with Win32 API. Experience of Embedded software development is also a requirement.
Knowledge of Visual Studio, subversion, Pharlap, Agile methodologies and Python would be advantageous.
This position is commutable from Portsmouth, Southampton, Fareham, Waterlooville, Whiteley, Havant, Hampshire.
