Job Description
The opportunity has arisen to join this beautiful 16th century country house hotel nestled in the heart of Sussex set in 40 acres of private grounds.
The responsibilities of this Commis Chef position will include:
-Maintaining the high standards of this restaurant
* Supporting senior chefs as required
* Preparing food prior to service
* Working effectively as part of a dedicated team
* Taking part in training and skill development
The Working pattern for this position will be five days out of seven as the business requires. Commis Chef will be reporting to the Head Chef.
Candidates for this Commis Chef position must have enthusiasm for food and be qulaified to NVQ level 1 & 2. Previous experience is desirable. You must be hardworking and determined to progress in your career, learning from example and through experience. You must be organised and motivated with high standards and attention to detail. You must be committed to your chosen career and display skill and enthusiasm in everything you do.
