Job Description

Demi Chef de Partie required - opportunity of a life time £16.5K Live in.

This delightful red star country house hotel would like to appoint a hard working Demi Chef de Partie to assist in their rosette accredited kitchen.

The establishment offers a choice of dining options and the setting proves popular as the perfect location for weddings and other functions. The extensive menus are ostensibly English with French influences, offering traditional cuisine that is simple yet fresh and exciting. Candidates must be from a quality background, preferably with rosette and volume cooking experience.

This is also a great opportunity for a Commis Chef, with little experience to join an incredible brigade at a top 200 hotel.

The successful Commis Chef will be dedicated to their chosen profession and committed to maintaining the reputation of the hotel as one of the finest in the area. Assisting the senior chefs in all areas of the kitchen you will be flexible and your ambition and desire to succeed will stand you in the best of stead to pursue a long term career in this hotel.

Reporting to the Exec Head Chef.

Qualifications/Experience required: A minimum of 1 years in quality establishments at a similar level Ideally with a minimum of 1 AA Rosettes. Must have NVQ level 1&2 or equivalent and a full understanding of food safety and hygiene. Applicants must be well presented and have a stable CV with good references. Must be enthusiastic, talented and hard working

All applicants must be currently residing in the UK.
