Molecular Laboratory Manager

£27,319-£33,600 per annum

School of Medicine - Developmental Origins of Health and Disease Research Division

Applications are invited for an enthusiastic Laboratory Manager to join our technical team within the Developmental Origins of Health and Disease research Division (DOHaD). The lab manager will be responsible for the day to day running of the molecular laboratories and its associated facilities within the DOHaD Division. The post holder will also be responsible for Health & Safety within these laboratory areas.
The successful candidate will be based at the state-of-the-art Institute of Developmental Sciences Building on the Southampton General Hospital site. Candidates will require a degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant subject or significant vocational experience, together with experience of working in a laboratory. Candidates will also require detailed knowledge of laboratory Health & Safety issues.
