Job opportunity for an accountant with an analytical mind to join a leading southampton based company with presence across both the local Hampshire and UK wide markets.
The purpose of the role is to take responsibility for sales / margin accounting and full P&L reporting and analysis. Working closely with the Commercial, Operations and Finance teams the job holder will provide analysis and insight to enable management of sales, net margin and stock performance, understanding the impacts of both historic and planned activities.
Key areas:
- Delivery of daily / weekly / periodic reporting
- Development / support / maintenance of key financial systems
- Delivery of adhoc reporting / analysis
- Co-ordination of the planning process
- Managing / developing the team
