Urgently seeking experienced Support desk Analyst for 6 month contract!
We are currently seeking an experienced Support Dek Analyst to join our well established clients team for 6 months.
The successful candidate must have;
•A competent level of hardware / software troubleshooting ability
•Experience of effectively using call logging software
•Ability to work sifts and weekends – occasional overtime / overnight stays involved with store visits plus able to spend long periods of time away from home (there is a requirement for the successful candidate to be seconded to the UK)
•Professional telephone manner and good general communication (written and verbal)
•Experience of remote diagnostic tools such as – VNC or PC anywhere
•Ability to deliver project assignments – working on own initiative or as part of a small team to deliver service improvements to Specsavers stores.
Desirable qualities include:
•A track record of implementing good ideas (within a Service Desk) to improve customer support.
•ITIL Foundation certificate holder
•Knowledge of Linux / Red Hat / MySQL
•Experience of IT Support in a retail environment
